Polyhouse Questions
Agri Target Farm manages polyhouse projects through a combination of modern agricultural practices, technology, and a skilled workforce. This includes monitoring and controlling temperature, humidity, irrigation, and other environmental factors inside the polyhouse, as well as regular crop management tasks such as planting, pruning, and harvesting. The management approach varies depending on the specific crop and location of the polyhouse.
Polyhouse farming offers: (1) Protection from weather extremes, pests, and disease; (2) Year-round crop production regardless of season; (3) Up to 3× higher yield per square metre; (4) Better quality produce with consistent sizing and appearance; (5) Reduced water usage through drip irrigation; (6) Higher market prices for premium-quality produce.
Polyhouses are versatile and support a wide variety of crops including: Vegetables — tomato, capsicum, cucumber, brinjal; Flowers — rose, gerbera, carnation, marigold; Leafy greens — spinach, lettuce, kale; Herbs — basil, mint, coriander; Strawberries; and Exotic fruits. Our team will recommend the most profitable crop mix based on your region, climate, and market access.
Hydroponics Questions
Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil. Instead, plants are grown in water-based nutrient solutions that deliver all essential minerals directly to the roots. This allows faster growth, higher yields, and year-round production in small spaces. Common systems we install include NFT (Nutrient Film Technique), DWC (Deep Water Culture), and Dutch Bucket systems.
Hydroponic farming can be done in as little as 100 sq.ft. (terrace or balcony). For commercial production, we recommend 500 sq.ft. to 2000 sq.ft. Multi-layer vertical systems multiply your growing area — a 200 sq.ft. floor space can become equivalent to 800+ sq.ft. of growing area with 4-tier racks.
Financial Questions
Investment varies based on size, crop type, and technology level. Indicative ranges: Small hydroponic setup (200–500 sq.ft.): ₹1–3 lakh; Medium polyhouse (1,000 sq.ft.): ₹3–7 lakh; Large commercial polyhouse (5,000+ sq.ft.): ₹20 lakh+. Contact us for a detailed, free project cost estimate tailored to your land and goals. Government subsidies (NHM, PM-KUSUM) can reduce costs by 30–50%.
ROI depends on crop type, scale, and market conditions. However, our average farmer clients recover their investment within 18–30 months for polyhouse projects and 12–18 months for mushroom and hydroponic units. With our guaranteed buyback programme, market risk is eliminated, making ROI more predictable. We provide a detailed financial projection report as part of our free consultation.
